What we do

Internation 10m Air Pistol:

Consists of a 60 shot (mens) or 40 shot (womens) match shot using a .177 caliber compressed air or gas pistol. Usually shot on an indoor range across a distance of ten metres. A good match for beginners and first time shooters to get used to the concept of shooting without heavy guns and large recoil.

25m Centre Fire, Sports Pistol:

A 60 shot match shot in two seperate halves. One precision series of 30 shots fired 5 at a time in 5 minutes and a rapid rife series shot in a restricted time. Both centre fire and sports pistol are identical matches except that the pistol used is a .32 or higher for centrefire and a .22 for sports psitol.

Standard Pistol:

Another 60 shot match shot using a .22 caliber pistol. Three seperate series of 20 shots fired at 150sec, 20sec and 10sec. Fired at a precision target over a distance of 25metres.

Rapid Fire:

60 shots fired 5 at a time into a row of five targets. There are three different time limits: 8sec, 6sec and 4sec. Match is shot using a .22 caliber pistol.

Black Powder: 25 metre, 50 metre, International:

A variety of matches shot using a black powder or muzzle loading pistol. Shot with time restrictions over a distance of 25 or 50 metres. Requires a large amount of shooting equipment and time.

50metre Free Pistol:

A match very similar to air pistol but using a .22 caliber pistol and shot over a distance of 50metres on a precision target.

Service Pistol (Unrestricted Service Match):

The course of fire is shot from 50 yards down to 7 yards and consists of 90 shots. The competition is shot from various position: prone, sitting, standing, standing by a barricade left and right handed and firing un-sighted below shoulder level. Shot with time restrictions.
