Breaches of the Acceptable Use Policy according to the Alphalink Terms and Conditions will be acted on as follows:

1st Breach

You will be emailed a formal First Warning.

If your breach concerns the infringement of copyright or intellectual property right laws, your account will also be temporarily suspended until we have made verbal contact with you.

Please Note: "someone else was using my account" will NOT be accepted as an excuse. You alone are responsible for your account and the manner in which it is used. You are also responsible for ensuring that your computer is secure from any virus or Trojan that allows a hack attempt.

If you think someone else is using your account without your consent, please contact us on 1300 137 425 to have your password changed immediately.

2nd Breach

Your account will be suspended.

Before you may have your account re-enabled, you will be required sign a written agreement with Alphalink that acknowledges your understanding and acceptance of what will happen should there be ANY further breach of the Alphalink Terms and Conditions.

If you are under 18 years old, your parents will also be required to sign this Agreement.

If your breach is deemed to be a malicious or intentional act of network abuse you will also be required to pay a security bond of $150. This bond will be forfeited to Alphalink should there be ANY further breach.

3rd Breach

Your account will be closed without Refund. The Security Bond of $150 will be forfeited to Alphalink.

Under no circumstances will "someone else was using my account" be accepted as an excuse. It remains your responsibility to ensure you have your password changed when you receive the warning for your 1st Breach and to ensure that NO ONE obtains access to it.
