The router configuration is done through your browser.
In your browser (Internet Explorer) enter 192.168.1.1 into the Address bar and press Enter.

You will be prompted to enter a username and password for the router.
By default this should be "admin" for both the username and the password.

You should now be in the router's setup.
Host Name and Domain Name can be blank.
VPI needs to be "8", and VCI needs to be "35". Operation Mode is Auto.
WAN Connection type should be set to Gateway using PPPoA.
Enter the username and password as provided on your information letter.
Depending on your account type, your username may be one of 3 different formats:
"username@alphalink.com.au", "username@residential.alphadsl.com.au", or "username@alphalink.your-dsl.net"
Select Keep Alive.
Click Apply.

Click Finish Setting.

You can click either Yes or No here. You should now be online, but wait at least 2 minutes for router to reboot before browsing.
