Welcome to The Cat Authority of Victoria Inc. CAV was established in 1966 as a non-profit organisation that provides registration and associated services for pedigreed and domestic cats.
CAV is proudly affiliated with The Australian Cat Federation Inc.; CAV's sister affiliates here in Australia are: CAT Inc. (Tasmania), CANT Inc. (Northern Territory), FCCQ Inc. CHANGE OF COMMITTEE
Due to Ian Rivett's continuing health issues he has found the position of CAV President to be too much for him as it was beginning to affect his health and he and Keryn have stepped down from their positions on the Executive. The Committee of CAV thank him for all his done over the last six months and hope him and Keryn can now enjoy a stress-free life now that they have stepped out of the "limelight"; they will continue on the committee in much lesser roles.
The new CAV Committee are:

(Mrs. Maddicks requires CAV to actively and openly search for a good candidate for CAV President as she will only stay in this position until the next AGM).
