TODAY'S AIR-OPERATED MAST FOR TOMORROW'S MILITARY SYSTEMS, 70 Kg UP TO 24 METRES

RUGGED AIR-OPERATED TELESCOPIC MASTS FOR ALL COM-CENTRE, FIELD SHELTER OR VEHICLE MOUNTING APPLICATIONS.
SCAM mast in service No field mast kit can be easier and quicker to extend, use and retract than a vehicle mounted telescopic type. Over many years the Clark SCAM Series have provided this facility to military forces all over the world. SCAM mats are recognised immediately by the square section steel case which protects the mast and provides attachment points for vehicle mounting or attachment of 4 telescopic field deployment legs. Although not light in weight like others in the Clark range, their solid construction becomes an advantage when erection is required off a vehicle on a hard surface, when picketing and guying is not possible. The original role of these masts was that of carrying VHF/UHF radio relay antennas. These days their great stability is leading them to new applications supporting today's military electronic devices. SCAM Series masts need a two person team to operate; four people in the case of the 21 metre model.
