Introduction

This section is for people who wish to manually plan their journey but don't know where to start. While there is now an automated journey planner on the Metlink website, results tend to be conservative and answers may not include tight but still usable connections. Though it's slower, the manual process described here is more educational and familiarises you with other services that could be useful later.
