What's possible with QRP?

The following are examples of what QRP can do: 600km spanned with 2 watts DSB and Australia to US with 5 watts CW on 160 metres. VK3 to ZL with 5 watts SSB with a 1.5m indoor magnetic loop antenna on 80 metres. Australia to US with 2 watts CW on 40 metres (antenna 1/2 sized G5RV from a third floor flat). Newcastle (VK2) to Nauru Island on 40 metres with 1 watt CW to quarter wavelength wire antenna. Pedestrian mobile VK1 to VK7 with 4 watts AM on 28 MHz. Australia to Japan with 500 milliwatts CW on 6 metres (antenna G5RV, SWR unknown!). Regular 144 MHz SSB Sydney to Canberra contacts with 2.5 watts to a 2 el yagi (operating portable)
